Mr. Wladis’ practice focuses primarily in the business, government relations and tax areas. His business practice involves working closely with various types of entities, including both S and C corporations, not for profit corporations, general partnerships, limited partnerships, limited liability partnerships, limited liability companies and sole proprietorships.

Mr. Wladis provides daily corporate counsel services and performs myriad critical tasks for his business clients, including the formation of new business entities, securing, negotiating and closing both simple and complex financing arrangements, the preparation of buy-sell and shareholder agreements, the purchase and sale of businesses and commercial real estate transactions.

A substantial part of Mr. Wladis’ practice is focused on governmental relations, in which he assists clients in negotiating the maze of local, state and federal regulations applicable to their businesses. He has developed a broad understanding of government programs that might be of value to the Firm’s clients. Mr. Wladis has represented clients in connection with obtaining a wide range of local, state and federal grants, appropriations, and tax incentives and benefits.

Mr. Wladis obtained his A.B. from Muhlenberg College, his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law and his L.L.M. in Taxation from Syracuse University College of Law. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association’s Tax Section, its Committee on Continuing Education and of the American Bar Association’s Tax Section. Mr. Wladis is admitted to practice law in the States of New York and Florida as well as the United States Tax Court.

Mr. Wladis was named a member of the Forty under Forty for Central New York, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Success By 6, and is a past member of the Board of Trustees of Onondaga Community College. Other Boards on which he has served include the Jewish Federation, the Central New York Lupus Foundation and the Onondaga County Commission on Economic Development, Conventions and Tourism.
