Neil Rube – Co-Chair Leadership Development
Neil Rube is Co-Chair of the Federation’s Leadership Development Committee. He lives in Manlius with his wife of 20 years, Erica, and their twin 17-year-old sons Teddy and Harry. Together with his family, Neil enjoys the outdoors by hiking, skiing and cycling, and the indoors by reading and attending diverse genres of musical performances.
Neil is Senior Vice President and General Counsel of national furniture retailer Raymour & Flanigan, based in Liverpool. He joined the company in March, 2000. Prior to joining Raymour & Flanigan, Neil was General Counsel and Partner of The Pioneer Companies, a Syracuse property development and management firm, and was associated with two law firms in New York City.
Neil received his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton and his juris doctorate degree from St. John’s University School of Law where he was Associate Editor of the St. John’s Law Review. He has served on the Board of Directors of Syracuse Opera, the Board of Trustees of Temple Adath Yeshurun, and chaired the Legal Division of the Federation’s Annual Campaign in 2009 and 2010.
