Volunteers Welcome for Federation Events

SUPER SUNDAY PHONE-A-THON

On Super Sunday more than 100 volunteers will reach out to local families to speak with them about their pledge to the Annual Campaign. Super Sunday is traditionally held in January at the JCC. Volunteers are needed to make phone calls, help set up refreshments, and stuff envelopes to help make this celebration of community a success. Volunteer shifts are available throughout the day. Contact Us to volunteer for this fun-filled and rewarding activity that benefits the entire Jewish community – locally, nationally and globally.  SUPER SUNDAY WILL BE JANUARY 27, 2019!  IT WILL RUN FROM 9AM TO 4PM AT THE SAM POMERANZ JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER.

 YOM  HASHOAH MEMORIAL OBSERVANCE

THE ACTUAL DATE OF YOM HASHOAH THIS YEAR IS ON Thursday, May 9, 2019.

The 2019 Yom Hashoah Community Memorial Observance will take place on SUNDAY, MAY 5, 2019.  It will be hosted this year at TEMPLE CONCORD.

The 8 “Days of Remembrance” as designated by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum run from Sunday, May 5, 2019 thru sundown on Sunday, May 12, 2019.

More information will be posted as plans move forward.
