OMA-THON
Menorah Park 4101 E. Genesee Street, SyracuseSay "YES!" to aging! Attend “OMA-thon” and experience Opening Minds Through Art, or OMA, Syracuse Jewish Family Service's signature intergenerational arts-in-aging/arts-in-dementia program. Play the role of an ‘elder artist,’ train and participate as a ‘volunteer facilitator,’ or just come and observe at this fun, upbeat taste of how SJFS is using the arts to help us all, young and old alike, to re-wire our relationships to the idea of aging and to people who are old. Two-part pre-event training required to participate as a volunteer facilitator: October 25, on Zoom from 5:30-7 pm; and Nov 8 in person at either noon-1:30 pm or 5:30-7 pm.
