Emergency Fund

The COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically impacted our families, our community and our way of life. What we’re facing is daunting but, in many ways, it is also bringing out the best in people, and every day we witness acts of courage, humanity and love.

Federation is focused on supporting and sustaining our Jewish community. Our goal is to respond to the crisis in a comprehensive way to assure the vibrancy and vitality of Jewish life across the broad spectrum of our community in the future.

But there is also a role that individuals can play. Even as they sit in isolation, many have reached out to ask us what they can do to help others at this time. For that reason, we established the Covid-19 Emergency Fund, to help meet current and constantly evolving needs. Your contribution to the Emergency Fund is needed now more than ever and may be made at  www.jewishfederationcny.org. Your dollars will enable us to provide the maximum amount of assistance at a time when the needs are greater than ever. 

Lastly, if you have special needs at this time, or if you have ideas for how Federation can help our community get through this crisis, please do not hesitate to connect with us. Simply email info@jewishfederationcny.org and we will respond promptly.
