A family friendly day at Green Lakes beach. Everyone can bring their own picnic and participate in family-friend games, and swim in the lake. There is a playground at the lake for children to use.

Concert at the JCC: From Eastern Europe to the Lower East Side
Join us at the JCC as we travel from Eastern Europe to the Lower East Side through a songs performed by Ken Frieden (clarinet) and Sabine Krantz (piano). Frieden and Krantz will begin their concert with Joseph Achron?s ?Hebrew Melody? (1911), followed by several of Béla Bartók?s folksongs (1915-). This JCC event will include the American premier of Frieden's 20-minute piece titled "Ten Tone Poems." In three cycles (Eclipse, Departing, Resistance), the piece tells an evolving story of the 18 months following the attack on Israel in October 2023.
