Join Dr. Erica Olson-Bang for a three-part series that will look at biblical women in conversation with each other, examining three pairs of women who appear together in the bible, whether as friends, allies, or rivals. Attendees will “listen in” on their conversations, as well as have their own conversations about these women and their relationships. Additionally, Erica and attendees will discuss how these women are depicted in the bible, how religious traditions and scholars have remembered them, and what we can learn from them as modern readers of the bible. Feel free to come for all three conversations, or just to the ones that spark your interest! Bring yourself, a friend and a 6-pack of your favorite drink to pass! Pizza, snacks and s’mores will be provided. There will be kosher snack options available. *Feel free to bring a folding chair if you’d like a comfy spot by the fire! Celebrate Sukkot with Next Gen CNY and join us for a casual night of pizza, snacks, drinks and s’mores in the Sukkah—plus yard games and a campfire! Bring a lawn chair and a favorite beverage to share (alcoholic or nonalcoholic). Swing by on your way home from work for a quick drink or stay until the fire runs out!
